Sent via email. Motion to accept the treasurers report made Stephanie by seconded by Carolyn.
Old Business
Vanguard Funds
Need to send new authorized people due to Ward leaving.
Annual Meeting: Where, when, how?
August 2 at the Salty Pickle. Carolyn working with the Salty Pickle for reservation and menu options.
Fundraiser: Where, when, how?
Nicki to reach out to gambling for Salty Pickle.
Membership and Retention
Don has some ideas of people to reach out to.
Idea to change meetings to zoom so more people can attend.
Idea to have meet-ups to encourage new interest in the association.
Board to brainstorm ideas and bring to next meeting.
Stickers to add to booklets “Complements of the Dead Lake Association”
Newsletter: Who, What, When, Where, and How
Donna is gone. Need a new organizer for the newsletter.
Carolyn would like to write an article on Lady Slippers.
Stephanie to reach out to Perham printing to see what they need from us to compile a newsletter.
Don is writing articles. If anyone has anything they would like to add, get it to Don.
Resort Owners Gathering:
Board would like to do again.
Membership-post cards
Went out last fall to around 300 owners on Dead Lake.
MAISRC, RMB, Water Sampling, Spring kick-off
Don reaching out to others to assist with water sampling that will be done next week.
Public Access:
Nothing to report
Weed removal:
Don checking into a new permit.
New Business
Rock Arch Ramp Fishway
Don encountering lots of questions.
Don to schedule a Zoom meeting for a presentation and Q&A session for lake residents.
Shoreline Booklets:
Don has a supply
New Rock Markers:
Purchased last fall and now in the water.
AIS Detectors:
Multiple people training (Denny, Patty, Don, Mark)
Wake Surf Wave Maps
Ordered. Once received we will decide what to do with the maps.
